Sales Representatives
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of our timber products to builders, manufacturers, and distributors worldwide. You will play a key role in expanding our client base, building strong relationships, and promoting our commitment to sustainability and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including builders, manufacturers, and distributors.
- Provide expert advice on our product range, including exotic hardwoods like Teak, Ipe, Sapele, and Southern Yellow Pine.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotes.
- Collaborate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the timber, construction, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of timber species, grades, and applications is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Timber Brokers
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Timber Broker to join our team. In this role, you will facilitate the buying and selling of timber products, connecting suppliers with clients and ensuring smooth transactions. You will play a critical role in expanding our network, negotiating contracts, and promoting our sustainable timber offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as an intermediary between timber suppliers and buyers, negotiating prices, terms, and contracts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, clients, and industry stakeholders.
- Stay updated on market trends, timber species, and industry developments.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and sustainability standards.
- Collaborate with the sales and logistics teams to coordinate shipments and resolve issues.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand our client and supplier base.
- Provide expert advice on timber products, including species, grades, and applications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a timber broker, trader, or in a similar role within the timber or forestry industry.
- Strong knowledge of timber species, grades, and market dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and networking skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
